Another family member for team Armstrong

At this rate, Lance Armstrong may someday be able to field a full cycling team of his own.

Armstrong announced via Twitter on Friday that his girlfriend Anna Hansen is expecting his fifth child in October. He's even set up a separate Twitter account under Cincoarmstrong.

The 38-year-old cycling great has hinted at the new arrival since last week. The first Cincoarmstrong tweet was April 20. It said, "I got 2 arms, 2 legs, a nickname, and i'm 2 inches long. See y'all in October."

Armstrong has three children with his ex-wife Kristin. He and Hansen had their first child together, son Max, in June 2009.

Prince Harry passes British army pilot's course

Just call him Your Royal Fly-ness: Prince Harry has successfully completed the course to fly British army helicopters.

A statement from his London office Friday said the prince passed his final tests earlier this week — and will get his wings May 7 from his father, Prince Charles.

Prince Harry, who is third in line to the British throne and is known in the military as Lt. Harry Wales, will learn then whether he will fly Lynx or Apache helicopters for the Army Air Corps.

Flying is in this family's royal blood: Harry's older brother, William, is learning to fly search-and-rescue choppers. Charles qualified as a helicopter pilot in 1974, and their uncle, Prince Andrew, flew a Royal Navy helicopter during the Falklands War

Rapper Eminem rips Roethlisberger in new song

Eminem mentions Ben Roethlisberger in his latest song: "Despicable."

The million-selling rapper refers to the Steelers' troubled quarterback in explicit lyrics and with the lines, "I'd rather turn this club into a bar room brawl. Get as rowdy as Roethlisberger in a bathroom stall."

A 20-year-old college student accused Roethlisberger of sexual assault following a March 3 incident in a Milledgeville, Ga., nightclub. Roethlisberger doesn't face charges, but he was suspended for six games by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

While Eminem is releasing a new album called "Recovery," the song referencing Roethlisberger will not be included. The song was posted at a website co-founded by Eminem's manager.

INSIDE STORY: Evan Lysacek and Johnny Weir 'At War'

When skating rivals Evan Lysacek and Johnny Weir were battling for a spot on the Olympic podium at the Vancouver Winter Games in February, Weir remarked that showdown would be a great "catfight."

The dust-up intensified this week off the ice as Olympic gold medalist Lysacek, competing on Dancing with the Stars, and Weir, a three-time U.S. Champion, traded slurs and barbs.

"We are at war," Weir told PEOPLE on Thursday. "My claws are out."

David Letterman Is Putting His Marriage Back Together

On Friday, it was David Letterman's turn to open up in front of an audience.

The Late Show host, who late last year was embroiled in a $2 million extortion plot stemming from his affairs with female members of his staff, made a rare guest-star appearance, saying on Live! With Regis and Kelly that he's now focused on repairing his relationship with wife Regina Lasko.

"Because you think an explosion has taken place and you're looking at the shards and you say, 'Well, can we put this back together?' " Letterman said. "And by God, maybe you can put it back together. And maybe it won't be the same, but maybe it will be different, and maybe it can even be better in a different way."

POLL: Is Christina Aguilera Channeling Madonna and Gaga?

Remember Madonna's 1995 video for "Express Yourself?" The one chock full of S&M references, salacious lyrics and scantily-clad dancers?

And what about last year's Lady Gaga smash "Bad Romance?" In it Gaga writhes around in patent leather, lingerie and an all-red ensemble, and a room gets set on fire.

Take each of those elements, add them together, insert Christina Aguilera, and you've got her new video, aptly titled, "Not Myself Tonight."

The parallel elements in all three music videos are so obvious – down to the whip a la Madonna and Gaga's lobster claw heels – that you've got to wonder whether Aguilera did it on purpose.

Film investors: Paris Hilton owes $1M restitution

Paris Hilton should return up to $1 million she was paid for the 2006 box-office bomb "Pledge This!" because she didn't plug the film enough, an attorney for the movie's investors told a federal judge Thursday.

The 29-year-old hotel heiress, actress and self-promoting businesswoman refused nine requests for print and broadcast interviews she should have given under her contract, said investor attorney Bryan West.

"We paid her $1 million, and we're entitled to get at least a portion of that back," West told U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno. "Part of what actors do is promote their films."

But Hilton's attorney, Michael Weinsten, said she took part in several high-profile publicity events — including an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival — and that the contract didn't require her to do interviews when she was busy on other projects.

Weinsten added that Hilton also had the right to approve or reject any proposals or offers.

"Paris Hilton is a brand. That is her value, and how she makes money," he said. "She did substantial publicity."

Hilton, who testified last summer at a trial over the dispute, did not attend Thursday's hearing. She said previously that although dissatisfied with the finished "Pledge This!" cut, she wanted the college sorority romp to succeed and worked hard to make that happen. Yet the film only made $2.9 million.

Moreno previously rejected the investors' effort to sue Hilton for $8.3 million in damages, which included the $1 million she was paid for her acting and as executive producer. But he left open the possibility that she might have to repay some or all of that fee as restitution if she did not fulfill her publicity obligations.

Moreno did not indicate when he would rule. The case centers on determining the value of the appearances Hilton did against the cost of those she rejected, which ranged from a proposed appearance on NBC's "Tonight Show" to phone chats with several British publications.

"The question is, what is the value of what she did do? Because she did do something," Moreno said. "How do I quantify it?"

Hilton was sued by attorney Michael Goldberg, a court-appointed receiver for a now-defunct entertainment company that was the major investor in "Pledge This!" The company, Worldwide Entertainment Group, was shut down as a suspected $300-million Ponzi scheme by the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Goldberg is attempting to recoup losses for some 3,300 investors in the company.

Both sides acknowledge Hilton's ability to move a product. Goldberg said Thursday that sales of the "Pledge This!" DVD spiked last summer amid publicity surrounding the trial, although he did not provide exact sales numbers.

Shakira visits Phoenix over tough immigration law

Colombian singer Shakira visited Phoenix on Thursday, meeting with the city's police chief and mayor over concerns that a sweeping new state law cracking down on illegal immigration will lead to racial profiling.

The Grammy winner met with the officials to learn more about how the law will be implemented if it goes into effect this summer.

The law, signed Friday by Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, is viewed as the toughest on illegal immigration in the nation and has drawn criticism from President Barack Obama, who questioned its legality. The law makes it a state crime to be in the U.S. illegally and directs police to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they're illegal immigrants.

"Shakira is deeply concerned about the impact of this law on hardworking Latino families," said Trevor Nielson, the singer's political and philanthropic adviser. "She is coming to Arizona to try to learn more about how law enforcement is reacting to this new law and how we can ensure that people in the state of Arizona are not being targeted because of the color of their skin."

He said Shakira canceled other commitments to make the visit and also planned to meet with Hispanic families in Phoenix to see how they'd be affected by the law.

Nielson said Shakira also sought to meet with Brewer during her visit to Phoenix, but that the governor's director of scheduling told Nielson it wouldn't be possible because the governor was booked.

The new law thrust Arizona into the international spotlight last week, with civil rights leaders and others demanding a boycott of the state, and the Mexican government warning its citizens about an "adverse political atmosphere" in Arizona. At least three Arizona cities are considering lawsuits to block the law, and there are two efforts to put a referendum on Arizona's November ballot to repeal it.

Supporters of the law say it takes the handcuffs off police and is necessary to protect Arizonans, while opponents say it will lead to rampant racial profiling.

Shakira is perhaps best known for her nimble dance moves and songs including "Hips Don't Lie" and "She-Wolf," but recently she has become more active in political and social issues.

She visited earthquake-ravaged Haiti earlier this month, expressed her support for Cuban dissident group Ladies in White and has worked as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador. Her Barefoot foundation provides nutrition to more than 6,000 children in Colombia, and she is a member of the ALAS foundation that advocates for children across Latin America.

Kim Kardashian Laughs Off Report She Caused Airplane Stink

Kim Kardashian isn't sorry she brought a burrito onboard a plane and made the air unbearable for her fellow fliers – because she says it never even happened.

"This is by far the funniest story I've ever read," the reality star, 29, writes on her blog about a tabloid report claiming she "made first class as odiferous as a Mexican bean factory" by unwrapping and chomping on a "giant burrito" during a recent flight.

Kardashian, who says she "absolutely hates burritos," writes that the report about her apologizing to the other passengers after they had to crank the "air ducts on full blast" never happened "and these quotes made me laugh so much … This is just hysterical!"

Though she's thankful for the good laugh, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wants to know how such a story even got printed.

"It baffles me that someone actually came up with this, quotes and all," she says.

Locklear Case - Waste of Taxpayers' Money?

TMZ has learned the Ventura County D.A.'s office has sent the Heather Locklear hit-and-run investigation back to the Sheriff's Dept. for further investigation ... and wait til you hear how much money is on the line.

Sources say the D.A. is concerned there's no evidence placing Heather behind the wheel when her BMW hit a no parking sign on April 17 at 4 AM.

Fact is ... sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ there is no surveillance video capturing Heather's car entering her gated community immediately after the crash.

So the D.A. wants the Sheriff to spend more time and money to place Heather behind the wheel. But we're told the Sheriff's Dept. has already spent around 10 hours on the case. It will take many more hours to learn where Heather was earlier that evening and follow her tracks. One insider says it's "a total exercise in futility."

So ... with California going broke ... exactly what's on the line? The Department of Public Works for Thousand Oaks tells TMZ the sign costs $275 and there are no labor costs.

Mandela to skip World Cup opening ceremony: grandson

Nelson Mandela plans to skip the opening ceremony of the football World Cup finals in South Africa in June and will watch the tournament from home, his grandson told AFP on Wednesday.

The news will disappoint his legions of fans and the organisers of the competition, FIFA, who had hoped he would make a rare public appearance to grace the first world soccer finals on African soil which begin on June 11.

Asked if the increasingly frail 91-year-old would be present, Chief Mandla Mandela replied: "Certainly not. My grandfather at this age is very elderly and we are not trying to intensify his programme."

"He's said he would prefer to be at home in the rural countryside to spend time at the farm," Mandela, who is a member of parliament, said in an interview with AFP during a trip to India.

"What we understand is that during the World Cup he will be given the opportunity to rest in the countryside."

A final decision will be made by the family and the Nelson Mandela Foundation closer to the start date, he added, stressing that there were no immediate health worries.

Last Friday, FIFA president Sepp Blatter said he was hopeful that Mandela, famously nervous while watching sport, would be strong enough to be guest of honour at the finals.

"We cross fingers that Nelson Mandela can realise this dream," Blatter told reporters.

South Africa's first black president memorably used the 1995 Rugby World Cup finals in the country as an opportunity to unite the country post-apartheid when he embraced a sport played and watched almost exclusively by whites.

After his endorsement, the team's victory in the final was celebrated nationwide and Mandela appeared at the final dressed in the national strip and congratulated the team after their defeat of New Zealand.

His grandson, in India for South African national day celebrations, said Mandela would follow the football World Cup on television. His rural home is in Qunu in the South Africa's Eastern Cape province, his birthplace.

"We always watch soccer with him, but unless the team is winning 2-0 he doesn't feel comfortable," he said. "Once it's a tight situation, he usually walks away and says it's too nerve-wracking."

On repeated speculation about Mandela's health, he said: "My grandfather has always been in good health.

"The media will always put something out to sell papers. Every time my grandfather goes to the hospital for his monthly check up at the hospital it?s used as platform to say he is ill," he said.

He said the family's only concern was Mandela's knees, due to pressure on the joints from his top-heavy physique which he put to good effect as an amateur boxer in his youth.

Despite this, the former president still manages to walk around thanks to his "stubbornness" and determination, he added.

Mandela's last public appearance was on February 11 when he visited the South African parliament to mark the 20th anniversary of his release from prison.

His agenda is generally kept secret and has been known to change at the last minute.

Mandela junior, who holds a degree in political science, won a seat in the national parliament in last year's general election.

British designer McQueen took drugs before suicide

British fashion designer Alexander McQueen took cocaine, sleeping pills and tranquillisers before hanging himself, leaving a note asking his family to "look after my dogs", an inquest heard Wednesday.

McQueen, who felt under pressure from work, had a history of self-harming and a depressive disorder and had taken two previous overdoses, a coroner and his psychiatrist said.

The 40-year-old's body was found in a wardrobe in his central London flat in February, the day before his mother's funeral.

The inquest heard details of his life, including his passion for deep sea diving and love for his three pet dogs. A note scribbled onto the back of a book in his room read: "Look after my dogs, sorry, I love you, Lee."

McQueen was one of fashion's superstar designers, working for Givenchy before being creative director of his own label. His death was mourned by friends including supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.

"He certainly felt very pressured by his work, but it was a double-edged sword," psychiatrist Stephen Pereira told the hearing in central London. "He felt it was the only area of his life where he felt he had achieved something.

"Usually after a show he felt a huge comedown. He felt isolated, it gave him a huge low."

He added that McQueen had been greatly affected by the recent death of his mother, to whom he was "very close."

"He felt that was the one link that had gone from his life and there was very little to live for," he said.

Coroner Paul Knapman concluded that McQueen had killed himself "while the balance of his mind was disturbed."

"It seems that he had a history of self-harm and, no doubt fuelled by cocaine, he resorted to desperate measures to end his life," he said.

"It's such a pity for a man who, from a modest start, climbed to the top of his profession only to die in such tragedy."

McQueen's family later released a statement saying they "miss him terribly."

"Lee was a public figure and a creative genius, who possessed a generous loving, caring nature," the statement said, using his real first name. "We will continue to make every effort to keep his memory alive."

McQueen was one of Britain's most successful fashion exports, shocking Paris as chief designer at Givenchy but winning hoards of fans with his outlandish but always beautifully tailored clothes at his eponymous label.

His death cast a cloud over New York Fashion Week, which was already underway, while London Fashion Week opened with a minute's silence a few days later.

Jessica Seinfeld wins NY culinary copycat claim

Jerry Seinfeld's wife did not copy a cookbook author when she released her own techniques for getting children to eat vegetables, a federal appeals court concluded Wednesday.

In a written ruling issued just two days after it heard oral arguments, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan sided with Jessica Seinfeld in her 3-year-old copyright and trademark dispute with Missy Chase Lapine, saying the books were "not confusingly similar."

"Stockpiling vegetable purees for covert use in children's food is an idea that cannot be copyrighted," the appeals court wrote.

Lapine, the author of "The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kids' Favorite Meals," sued Jessica Seinfeld over her cookbook titled: "Deceptively Delicious: Simple Secrets to Get Your Kids Eating Good Food." The Seinfeld book was published several months after Lapine's in 2007.

The fight reached a boil when Jerry Seinfeld made light of Lapine's claims during an appearance on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" in the fall of 2007, saying Lapine was accusing his wife of "vegetable plagiarism." Lapine's lawyers said Seinfeld, best known for the popular television comedy series "Seinfeld," used his Letterman appearance to launch a "malicious, premeditated and knowingly false and defamatory attack" on their client.

In court papers, lawyers for Jessica Seinfeld had accused Lapine of falsely claiming she invented the idea of hiding fruits and vegetables in children's meals when "countless prior works utilized this very same unprotectable idea," including a 1971 book.

Two appeals judges who participated in the ruling said they made their own comparison, finding that the total concept and feel of the books were "very different."

Seinfeld's book "lacks the extensive discussion of child behavior, food philosophy and parenting that pervades `The Sneaky Chef,'" the judges said.

They also noted that "The Sneaky Chef" used primarily black, gray and shades of brownish orange, while "Deceptively Delicious" utilized bright colors and more photographs.

In a ruling that paralleled a decision last year by a lower court judge, the appeals court said the two cookbooks lacked the substantial similarity required to support a copyright infringement claim. And they said there was no chance of confusion by book buyers.

Howard Miller, a lawyer for Lapine, said he did not expect to appeal Wednesday's ruling, though a separate defamation lawsuit against Jerry Seinfeld for his remarks regarding Lapine and the lawsuit will continue in state court in Manhattan, where it has not yet been ruled on.

"I think this phase of the case is over," Miller said of the copyright and trademark claims.

Seinfeld lawyer Orin Snyder in a statement called Lapine's claims "an abuse of the judicial system."

"Two different courts have now seen through these false allegations, and that is why this case has been definitively thrown out of court," he added.

Rielle Hunter talks about Edwards with Winfrey

John Edwards' mistress tells Oprah Winfrey the former presidential candidate's wife didn't know about their involvement until after Edwards gave an interview to ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff admitting the affair.

In quotes provided Wednesday by Harpo Productions, Rielle (ree-EHL') Hunter says John Edwards "came clean with" Elizabeth Edwards after the August 2008 interview. Hunter tells Winfrey people who "knew the truth" asked John Edwards not to do the interview. Hunter says Elizabeth Edwards "really wanted him to do that interview," but "she didn't know the truth."

Hunter is to appear on Thursday's episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

John Edwards admitted in January he and Hunter have a 2-year-old daughter. He and Elizabeth Edwards are now separated.

Sandra Bullock's divorce cites discord as grounds

Sandra Bullock has filed for divorce from her husband, Jesse James, citing discord and conflict of personalities without "any reasonable expectations of reconciliation."

The divorce petition, which was filed Friday, said the couple has no child under 18 years of age who is entitled to support. The Oscar-winning actress revealed Wednesday on People magazine's website that she is adopting a 3 1/2-month-old boy, Louis Bardo Bullock, who was born in New Orleans.

James and Bullock separated in March after five years of marriage, following reports that the celebrity motorcycle builder and reality-TV star had been unfaithful.

Bullock's divorce papers were filed in a Travis County court in Austin, Texas, where Bullock owns two downtown restaurants and is believed to have a home. The 3-page filing was first reported by celebrity website TMZ.com. A call to Bullock's attorney was not immediately returned.

The divorce filing said Bullock and James no longer lived together and she believed they could enter into an agreement to divide their estates.

"The marriage between Petitioner and Respondent has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectations of reconciliation," the divorce filing said.

Bullock, 45, won the Oscar for best actress for her role in the blockbuster hit "The Blind Side," on March 7. Within days of her win, the cheating allegations became public and Bullock went into seclusion.

Bullock and James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago, the People article said, and brought Louis Bardo Bullock home in January but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Academy Awards.

`Lend Me a Tenor' is a high note for Bartha

It's not like he's trying to — or that he even needs to — but his work on stage in the Broadway revival of "Lend Me a Tenor," a slam-bang farce by Ken Ludwig, is so physical he's already lost about 10 pounds.

Bartha plays Max, a nervous assistant to an opera impresario in 1930s Cleveland. They've scored a "good get" by snagging a world famous tenor, Tito Merelli, for a performance of "Otello."

Max's main task is to get Merelli to the opening on time, but the plan goes awry when the singer accidentally takes too many sleeping pills. Rather than canceling the show, Max ends up disguising himself as Merelli — dressed as Otello — to pull off the performance.

The role is intense. The 31-year-old actor must maintain high energy throughout the show: running in and out of rooms, jumping on a bed, falling on the floor, singing opera and pulling off an impossibly quick costume change. Bartha likens it to feeling like a car in a car wash.

Because of those challenges, Bartha acknowledges having his breaking points.

"I've run into Victor Garber, who originated the role (of Max) in the 1989 Broadway production, and he's even said, 'Have you broken down yet?' Which does help," Bartha said. "If Victor Garber says you might break down a few times, then you know that — because you have — it might not be that bad."

When Bartha first read the script, he was drawn to the idea of playing almost three characters in one performance. There's Max in the beginning, Max as Otello and an improved, more confident Max at the end.

But Bartha soon realized the role was harder than he first anticipated.

"(Farce) is deceptively difficult," said the actor, who has appeared on film in "The Hangover" and the "National Treasure" movies. "I don't think I realized how difficult it was until halfway through rehearsals."

He also knew immediately that he wanted to work with its director, Stanley Tucci, and co-stars Anthony LaPaglia and Tony Shalhoub who were already attached to the project.

"I pictured them right away in the parts and I could not stop laughing," Bartha explained. "The actors were pushing the material along. That's kind of why I wanted to do it so badly."

Bartha says it's equally as great to be directed by a great actor.

"(Tucci) just gets it. He knows what all the actors are going through. He probably could play every part in this play better than anyone else and I think the biggest surprise is how we got right into it."

They didn't spend time exploring the story or their characters but instead focused on the technical aspect of their role and getting the timing just right.

"We would spend an hour on what sound to make when you fall on the ground or where exactly to place something," he said.

The admiration is mutual.

"Justin Bartha is one of the most talented actors I've met in many years," Tucci said. "And having never done a play before, (he) has risen to the occasion ... and then some. He should be very proud and audiences are very lucky to be able to see him making his Broadway debut."

When the show is over, Bartha says he feels both amped up and exhausted.

"Your body is exhausted but your mind is buzzing. It's bizarre. I literally sweat for pretty much the entire time and afterward you'd think you'd collapse, but you need a drink."

Coroner: McQueen tried to overdose before suicide

A depressed Alexander McQueen twice tried to overdose on drugs in the months before he hanged himself, the fashion designer's psychiatrist and a coroner said Wednesday.

Coroner Paul Knapman ruled that McQueen's Feb. 11 death was a suicide, and said the designer took his life after taking a mixture of cocaine, sleeping pills and tranquilizers.

The 40-year-old "killed himself while the balance of his mind was disturbed," Knapman told a public inquest that aimed to establish the circumstances surrounding his death. In Britain, inquests are held whenever someone dies violently or in unexplained circumstances.

"It seems that he had a history of self-harm and, no doubt fueled by cocaine, he resorted to desperate measures to end his life," he said.

McQueen's body was found in a wardrobe in his apartment on the eve of his mother's funeral. The coroner's court said the cause of his death was asphyxiation and hanging.

McQueen's psychiatrist, Dr. Stephen Pereira, told the inquest that the designer suffered from the pressures of his high-profile career. He was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and had attempted two drug overdoses in May and July, 2009, Pereira said.

"Usually after a show he felt a huge come-down. He felt isolated, it gave him a huge low," the doctor said, adding that the designer saw his work as a "double-edged sword."

A toxicology report said McQueen took a "substantial" amount of cocaine and sleeping pills mixed with tranquilizers prior to his death.

The designer was "overwhelmed with grief" at the loss of his mother days before he took his own life, coroner's officer Lynda Martindill said.

Police found a note that said: "Look after my dogs, sorry, I love you, Lee" scribbled onto the back of a book in his room. They said there were no suspicious circumstances.

The designer was known by his first name Lee among friends and family.

His family released a brief statement saying they were struggling to come to terms with his death.

"Today's inquest has obviously been very difficult for the family," it said. "Lee was ... a much-loved brother and son and we miss him terribly."

Known for his dramatic statement pieces and impeccable tailoring, McQueen dressed celebrities from Cameron Diaz to Lady Gaga and influenced a generation of designers.

He was named British Designer of the Year four times and awarded the title of CBE — Commander of the Order of the British Empire — by Queen Elizabeth II.

Wyclef: Haiti's gov't should stress education

Haiti's government should emphasize education to help the country recover from its devastating earthquake, Wyclef Jean said Wednesday.

The Haitian-born singer and producer said in an interview with The Associated Press that the government and nonprofit organizations should focus on raising the impoverished country's literacy rate, which stands at 50 percent in a population of 9 million.

"If we're going to get to the 21st century, I don't know how we're going to do that with a population who can't read or write," he said.

The quake's devastation "gives Haiti a new slate," he said. "We have to think strategic on how we deal with the situation on a level beyond emotions."

Jean, whose Yele Haiti Foundation is helping with earthquake relief efforts, spoke a day before his scheduled performance at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in Puerto Rico.

He shrugged aside widespread rumors that he might one day run for president of Haiti, saying that's not part of his plans.

"If I take a job being a president, I can't do as much as I'm doing for my country," said Jean, who organized an all-star telethon after the quake that organizers said raised $66 million.

Jean said Haiti needs stronger leadership, but he avoided direct criticism of President Rene Preval, who was barely seen in public in the days after the Jan. 12 quake that killed an estimated 230,000 people and left 1.3 million homeless.

"I can't criticize President Preval. He did what he could with what he had in his hands. It's always debatable: Could he have done more? Said more?"

Jean said he is going to Haiti in two weeks to help build temporary shelters for earthquake survivors — a happier task than the one he faced on his first trip home after the quake.

British comic Ricky Gervais to return as Globes host

British comedian Ricky Gervais is to return as host of next year's 68th Golden Globes Awards ceremony, organizers the Hollywood Foreign Press Association confirmed here Tuesday.

Gervais, best known for creating and starring in the original British television sitcom "The Office," hosted this year's show at the Beverly Hilton hotel, delighting guests with some off-color jokes and irreverent humor.

"I can't believe they invited me back after (the) awful things I said," Gervais said. "Let's see how far I can go this time."

Next year's Golden Globe Awards -- one of the highlights of Hollywood's awards season -- will be held at 5:00pm (0100 GMT) on January 16.

"We are thrilled to have Ricky back as the host of the Golden Globe Awards," said HFPA President Philip Berk.

"His combination of wit, irreverence and spontaneity makes him the ideal host. He was fantastic last year, and he'll be even better the second time around."

Dancing Girls and Superstars at the "Iron Man 2" Premiere

A bevy of beauties hit the glittery red-carpet premiere of "Iron Man 2" at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Monday, April 26, and they weren't even the much-anticipated film's female leads. No, these were dancing girls, decked out in skimpy red bikinis and knee-high red boots. In a twist from the normal red-carpet walk, the girls danced on a curtained stage, then director Jon Favreau announced the star-studded cast one by one, with the fans' screams hitting a crescendo as each appeared from behind the curtain.

Gwyneth Paltrow led the dazzling parade of actresses that make "Iron Man 2" much more than just a Marvel comic-book flick. Scarlett Johansson, Leslie Bibb, Anya Monzikova, Olivia Munn, and Helena Mattsson rounded out the female eye candy that populates this sequel all about Tony Stark and his alter ego Iron Man.

At an earlier press conference for the film, Paltrow explained exactly why the women in "Iron Man 2" are so special.

"It's a very smart decision actually to have women who are capable and intelligent in the film, because it appeals to women. So it's not only a film for 15-year-old boys," she explained. "It's a film that can relate to a lot of people on a lot of levels and a lot of my girlfriends like it because of the romance."

Paltrow's character is in a romance with the movie's hero Tony Stark, who is played by Robert Downey Jr. He told reporters that he is certainly happier being the star of a huge movie franchise rather than a drug-addicted criminal, which he once was. Downey, who spent more than a year in jail because of his actions while under the influence, laughed and said, "I'm in a great spot. I think I'm fortunate too because I've kind of had two or three or seven lives with different perceptions of me and my status or whatever. It's just been a really nice time right now."

Downey's male "Iron Man 2" co-stars seemed to be having a nice time at the premiere, too. Samuel L. Jackson happily greeted Don Cheadle, while Mickey Rourke, Garry Shandling, Sam Rockwell, and Clark Gregg gathered for a giant cast picture in front of a statue of the action hero.

Lots of other famous faces turned out for the premiere, including Sylvester Stallone, Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Adrien Brody, Jennifer Grey, Dane Cook and Hugh Hefner, the man-of-the-moment as he had earlier in the day kicked in the $900,000 needed to save the iconic Hollywood sign perched in the hills just above the theater.

Laura Bush book suggests poison at German summit: report

Former first lady Laura Bush writes in her forthcoming autobiography that she and her husband George W. Bush may have been poisoned when they became ill at a summit in Germany in 2007, the New York Times reported Wednesday.

Writing in her book "Spoken from the Heart," due to be released in May, Laura Bush says that the US Secret Service probed whether the presidential delegation may have been poisoned at the G8 summit.

George W. Bush spent part of the summit bedridden.

Doctors concluded that they had contracted a virus, she said, according to the Times report.

However "we never learned if any other delegations became ill, or if ours, mysteriously, was the only one," Laura Bush wrote.

She also wrote about a fatal November 1963 car accident when she was 17 in Texas and at the wheel of a car that hit another, killing the driver, a fellow student.

"I lost my faith that November, lost it for many, many years," she writes.

"It was the first time that I had prayed to God for something, begged him for something, not the simple childhood wishing on a star but humbly begging for another human life. And it was as if no one heard."

The book is also devoted, according to the Times report, to rebutting critics of her husband. She calls insulting comments by the Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid "uncalled for and graceless."

What Makes Julia Roberts Most Beautiful – Still!

When you're the World's Most Beautiful Woman, there are a few things to always remember before leaving the house: Brush your teeth. Don't take longer than the kids to get ready. And leave certain things (hair color and waxing) to trained professionals. Or so says Julia Roberts in an exclusive Q&A to celebrate her fourth turn as the cover girl for PEOPLE's Most Beautiful issue.

Though it's hard to believe it's been 20 years since Roberts starred in Pretty Woman, her relaxed vibe about beauty has served her well over the years. "She's never looked more beautiful," says Ryan Murphy, the director of her upcoming film, Eat, Pray, Love, based on the huge bestseller. "She is so happy and fulfilled and it shows."

At 42, the mom of three (twins Hazel and Phinnaeus are 5 and Henry is 2) signed her first beauty contract in January to become Lancome's global ambassador. "It's fun to find myself with this type of new career at my advanced age!" she writes about the gig, in the issue on newsstands Friday.

Joey Fatone: Adjusting to Double the Daughters

In the years since ‘NSYNC split Joey Fatone has become quite the family man, residing in Florida with wife Kelly and their 9-year-old daughter Briahna Joely.

With the addition of Kloey Alexandra in January, however, the pop star says he’s still coming to terms with being a dad of two!

“It’s really weird to grasp the concept that I actually have another kid. It’s so bizarre. It’s surreal,” Fatone, 33, told PEOPLE Moms & Babies as he kicked off Orlando’s World Smile Search Friday in N.Y.C.

“My wife always says she has three kids now instead of two.”

The Dancing With the Stars alum says he’s enjoying watching his 3-month-old baby girl grow — even if he’s not noticing much of a resemblance!

“At first, Kloey looked like my daughter and then my brother-in-law, but now she doesn’t look like anybody,” he laughs. “She has blue eyes — I don’t have blue eyes and neither does my wife. She might be the milkman’s kid!”

Elder daughter Briahna is “super excited” about her little sister, Fatone says. “Briahna’s embracing her. She feeds and changes her. It’s awesome — it’s fun to watch them interact.”

A big kid himself, the doting dad says he enjoys playing Wii Fit, video games and softball with Briahna.

“She has all these different interests,” explains Fatone. “Now she’s into fashion. She’s been drawing and wants to make outfits. She’s religiously watching Project Runway and I have to watch it. I’m like Tim Gunn — ‘Hello designers.’”

Briahna likes music as well, and understands her father’s pop star past. In fact, Fatone’s entrepreneurial daughter hopes to cash in on Dad’s success too.

“She knows the drill. [Whenever] we’re in a crowd she’s like, ‘Somebody’s going to ask you for an autograph or picture,’ and she’ll stand to the side or wait. If there’s a lot of people, she’ll say, ‘If I charge five bucks, I could make some money. Five or 10 bucks for a picture.’”

His Own Words: Jesse James Reacts to Divorce Filing

As Sandra Bullock shares her decision to file for divorce from husband Jesse James and adopt son Louis as a single mom, James tells PEOPLE he has a "huge hole" in his heart, but understands:

"My whole life has been full of hard decisions.

"The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart.

"Sandy is the love of my life, but considering the pain and devastation I have caused her, it would be selfish to not let her go. Right now it is time for me to beat this addiction that has taken two of the things I love the most in life.

"I have always taken great pride in proving people wrong. That time has come once again to show that I am not what everyone says I am. I know in my heart that I can be the best father possible to my four children, and the mate Sandy deserves, and realize that this is an incredible mountain to climb. But I believe that the steps I have taken in the last 30 days are the foundation for making this happen. The lifelong commitment I am making is what being a real husband and father is all about.

"I ask that you please do not judge Sandy for the things I have done. She has done no wrong. She played no part in any of this. She has been an amazing wife, mother, and best friend, for the over 6 years we have been together."

Laura Bush's Memoirs Address Fatal Car Crash

Reversing a long-held position about remaining quiet about the fateful incident, Laura Bush is now discussing the November 1963 car crash in Midland, Texas, that killed a high school friend – which she says has haunted her for her entire life, according to the former first lady's soon-to-be published memoir, Spoken from the Heart.

According to the book, a copy of which has been obtained by The New York Times, 17-year-old Laura Welch (Bush's maiden name) was driving her father's Chevrolet Impala with a girlfriend as passenger, rushing to a drive-in movie when she ran a stop sign and hit the car being driven by her school's star athlete, Mike Douglas.

"In those awful seconds, the car door must have been flung open by the impact and my body rose in the air until gravity took over and I was pulled, hard and fast, back to earth," she writes, according to The Times. Later, she says, "I was praying that the person in the other car was alive. In my mind, I was calling 'Please, God. Please, God. Please, God,' over and over and over again."

One Nose Job Is Enough Plastic Surgery For Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray Joel is turning over a new leaf. Hospitalized after taking Traumeel, a homeopathic medication, in December, Alexa Ray tells PEOPLE she’s feeling much better–inside and out. The 24-year-old singer underwent rhinoplasty earlier this month, and says she’s overjoyed by the results. “I was thinking about getting this for years,” says Joel. Her nose, she adds, “always bothered me a little bit. I was self-conscious of pictures taken from the side. To some people that’s vain, but at the end of the day, we all want to feel pretty.” But the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley says she’s done with plastic surgery. Says Joel, “Would I do anything else to my body? No. It’s not ten procedures like Heidi Montag. For me, that’s a little extreme, but to each her own.” As for the timing of the surgery–just four months after her overdose scare following a breakup–Joel says this was the right time for her. “Would it have been smart to get this procedure last year?” she asks. “No. I didn’t know who I was.” And now? “I feel really good.”–Rennie Dyball and Liza Hamm

Elton John Remembers Ryan White at AIDS Benefit Concert

It has been 20 years since Elton John was a pallbearer at his friend Ryan White's funeral. But the music legend has never forgotten the impact the brave teenager had on educating the world about living with AIDS.

In memorial to White, who died at age 18 in 1990 of complications from the disease, the music legend will perform Wednesday night at a fundraiser for the Elton John AIDS Foundation at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis.

"Ryan dedicated his life to helping future generations of children," his mother, Jeanne White-Ginder, said in a statement. "This event will celebrate Ryan's life and his efforts to fight against AIDS discrimination, as well as to help continue his efforts of education."

White contracted the disease after a blood transfusion – and he became a symbol of hope during a time when fear and misconceptions about AIDS were prevalent.

Randy, 59, and Evi, 46, who are free on $100,000 bail each, are accused of skipping out on a more than $10,000 hotel bill at an exclusive Santa Barbara resort. They are facing three felonies: defrauding an innkeeper, burglary and conspiracy.

Although they have since paid their outstanding bill, prosecutors say a crime was still committed.

Bret Michaels Is Conscious and Talking Slowly

In the past five days, Bret Michaels was rushed to a hospital after suffering a brain hemorrhage, underwent tests while remaining in critical but stable condition and found out he had a side effect that could lead to seizures. But there's a good chance the rocker won't remember any of it, says one expert.

"Most people [who suffer this type of brain hemorrhage] don't remember most of their hospitalization – they have no recollection," Dr. Melvin Field, director of the Florida Hospital Neuroscience Institute, tells PEOPLE.

Still, Michaels is conscious, talking very slowly and in good spirits, his rep tells PEOPLE.

Doctors usually "give patients some sedation so they don't have pain, and that can kind of make it so they don't remember too much," says Field, adding that having blood in the brain can also cause some confusion.

Michaels will remain under the care of doctors, who discovered the Celebrity Apprentice contestant has a side-effect called hyponatremia, a lack of sodium in blood that can cause seizures. His rep says he has not had any seizures.

Field says the hyponatremia shouldn't be considered a setback. "It's relatively common [in these cases]," he says. "I don’t think it’s going to cause permanent problems. It’s almost like a small road-bump – like having a fever."

While Field says the rocker, 47, who suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage on April 22, will most likely have "a pretty good headache" during his recovery and be in the hospital three to four weeks, he shouldn't have any other significant side effects. "If he came into the hospital awake and talking with a bad headache, there is a very good possibility he'll leave the hospital the way he came,” says Field. "He should be fine."

World Exclusive: Meet Sandra Bullock's Baby Boy!

In public, Sandra Bullock has been through the best and worst of times this year – from winning her first Oscar to enduring the breakup of her marriage. In private, she was quietly keeping a joyful secret – his name is Louis, and he is her newborn son.

"He's just perfect, I can't even describe him any other way," Bullock reveals exclusively in the new issue of PEOPLE, announcing that she is the proud mother of Louis Bardo Bullock, a 3½-month-old boy, born in New Orleans. "It's like he's always been a part of our lives."

Bullock, 45, and husband Jesse James, 41, began the adoption process four years ago and brought Louis home in January but decided to keep the news to themselves until after the Oscars. Their close friends and family – including James's children Sunny, 6, Jesse Jr., 12, and Chandler, 15 – were essential in keeping the adoption a secret.

Then, just 10 days after the March 7 Oscars, Bullock and James separated following reports James had cheated. Bullock says she is now finalizing the adoption as a single parent.

Matt Damon and Wife Expecting Another Baby

Matt Damon and his wife Luciana are set to welcome a fourth child to the family.

Luciana, 34, is due in the fall. "Everybody's really happy," a rep for Damon, 39, tells PEOPLE.

The couple already have three daughters: Alexia, 11, who is Luciana's child from a previous marriage, Isabella, who will be 4 in June, and Gia, 20 months.

Damon is a "phenomenal" father, his close friend George Clooney told PEOPLE in 2007. "He absolutely adores those kids. He's doing it really well."

Damon and his wife were married in 2005. After Isabella was born, PEOPLE's 2007 Sexiest Man Alive told a British newspaper that having a family had transformed his life.

"I really used to have no life outside movies. I'd work all day, go to the gym and go to sleep," he said. But once Isabella arrived, "that was it for me and working out because I wanted to get home to see my daughter before she went to sleep."

Countess LuAnn: I’m Bringing Classy (and Disco) Back

Justin Timberlake brought “sexy” back, and with the debut of her first single “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” The Real Housewives of New York City’s Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is “trying to bring manners — and disco — back,” she tells PEOPLE. “When I made the song, I had dancing in Saint-Tropez in mind.”

The tune, which hit the Web on Monday afternoon, has been catching bloggers’ ears — but even her on-screen sparring partner Bethenny Frankel admitted to enjoying the track.

“Even if Bethenny wanted to be mean, she couldn’t because I think she really really likes the song,” says de Lesseps. “I think [Bravo Producers] were mean to show a clip of me singing off key, but I’m a reality star; I don’t have the luxury that Beyoncé does to not show that footage.”

“I’m putting myself out there,” she says, “knowing that I won’t always be perfect. And It’s scary, but it’s worth it. Let people talk about it. Like my good friend [the late] Princess Hohenlohe [born Patricia Wilder] used to say, ‘If they’re not talking about you, you might as well be dead.’”

Kick-Ass Actor's Fiancée Defends Their 24-Year Age Gap

Teenage Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson's fiancée, who is 24 years his senior, doesn't care if people are shocked by their age difference – and says it's "sexist" to even make it an issue.

"The amount of men I know with the same age gap [with younger women] that we have – how come no one says anything about that?" Sam Taylor-Wood tells Harper's Bazaar in its April issue. "It's totally sexist. I try to ignore it."

The British artist and filmmaker adds: "I've made lots of big decisions in my life that have shocked people. I've never really thought of other people's opinions, so why start now?"

Johnson, 19, and Taylor-Wood, 43, have set tongues wagging with their whirlwind romance following his work in the movie Nowhere Boy, which she directed last year. They got engaged, are expecting a baby this summer and have started thinking about wedding plans, too.

Which Britney Song Would You Love to See on Glee?

Following the success of the all-Madonna version of FOX’s Glee, series creator Ryan Murphy says he’s interested in doing an all-Britney Spears episode. “I’ve always loved her,” he tells EW. “I’m entertaining it. I think young kids would like that.”

Murphy says he’s also interested in doing Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin and even Courtney Love episodes. But the music has to be a good fit for the kids at McKinley High. “The key is the songs in the catalog have to have a certain degree of theatricality,” says Murphy. –Tim Nudd

"It's going to feel like you're going to camp. There's going to be things to do from the minute you walk in to the end of the night."

That's because the shows will include lots of music from Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, which premieres Sept. 3 on the Disney Channel. Demi Lovato, who appears in the film, is joining the brothers on tour, and other Camp Rock stars will perform, too.

Paltrow, who's been married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin since 2003, assures the TV host that, despite their tender ages, her kids are nice and well-behaved – for the most part.

"They're great. They're so sweet," says Paltrow, 37. Then again, she also admits that sometimes her children are given to tantrums, but aren't all children?

Bret Michaels Told Fans He Was 'Not 100%'

Bret Michaels confessed to fans that he was not feeling "100%" the day before he suffered a massive brain hemorrhage.

"I'm feeling right about in the middle right now on a scale of 1 to 10," Michaels, who had undergone an emergency appendectomy on April 12, wrote on his Fancast blog. "I'm not 100% yet ... I have to get my blood sugar back in order, because it's been all over the place because every day I've been real active and you're not supposed to move around yet."

The rocker and current Celebrity Apprentice contestant, 47, also addressed fan questions about his diabetes and alcohol.

Alicia Silverstone: 'I Can't Wait to Be Pregnant'

While starring – and earning great reviews – as the young lover in the hit Broadway play Time Stands Still this spring, Alicia Silverstone tapped into her maternal side with a little help from her wardrobe for the play.

"Wearing a pregnancy suit was so much fun," the actress, 33, tells PEOPLE. "I loved the feeling of pretending to be pregnant and having little arms and legs and this big belly."

But it wasn't just the suit that got her thinking about motherhood. "I've been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old – I'm destined to be a mother," says Silverstone, who will celebrate her fifth wedding anniversary with musician-husband Christopher Jarecki on June 11. "I can't wait to be pregnant."
